Everyone on site grows different kind of plants on their allotment. Some concentrate on traditional vegetables such as onions, potatoes, cauliflowers and carrots. Other people are more experimental, growing things like sweet potatoes, curly kale, pak choi and artichokes (jerusalem and globe). |

Plot sizes A full plot is approx. 30x90 feet – traditionally this was an area that was about large enough to feed a family for most of the year. This is quite big, so a lot of plot holders have a half plot, and we are now setting up 'starter plots' for people who are new to gardening and want to start gradually. |
